A visit to new league member Loyola Chicago is next for the Davidson women's soccer team, which has won its last two Atlantic 10 Conference contests.
Now 9-2-1 overall and 2-2 in the A-10, the Wildcats start their two-match week with the Ramblers at 7 p.m. CST Thursday in Chicago before returning home to host George Washington on Sunday afternoon.
Prior to joining the A-10 this year, Loyola won the last four Missouri Valley Conference titles and earned NCAA Tournament berths each year. Davidson and Loyola have never met in women's soccer.
"They're a very, very good team," said coach Adam Denton. "They have lots of experience, having been to the NCAA Tournament the last four years, and have a lot of returning players. So we know they have experience and quality."
