KINGTSON, R.I. – Rhode Island scored a goal in each half to blank Davidson, 2-0, in Atlantic 10 women's soccer action Sunday afternoon at the URI Soccer Complex.
The setback drops the Wildcats to 6-5-2 overall and 2-3-1 in league play. Rhody collects three more points, while moving to 10-3-1 and 4-1-1.
The Rams' goals came from Lauren MacDonald and Sarah Yee in the 11th and 85th, respectively.
Despite the loss, Davidson's Grace Stair finished with a season-high eight saves in goal.

The Wildcats will conclude their brief road swing Thursday with a 7 p.m. tilt at George Mason in Fairfax, Va.
