'Cats Split Twin Bill With Bryant

Davidson won the day's first game 11-10, then lost 8-5 in the nightcap, as Bryant took the 2-1 series win.
Game 1
Manjooran's RBI-single through the left side scored Lietz and completed a five-run eighth inning, as the Wildcats rallied from a 10-6 deficit to win 11-10 in eight innings.
Davidson's eighth included five singles, including a two-RBI hit from Lietz, who drove in six runs in the game, highlighted by a three-run home run in the second. Lietz and Anthony Torreso each had three hits to lead the way, and leadoff hitter Matthew Vannoy got his first college hit on an RBI-single in the fourth.
Lefty starter Cooper Cavanaugh pitched four innings, allowing one hit and two earned runs and punching out four.
Game 2
Bryant broke a 5-5 tie and scored three runs in the seventh to pull away for the 8-5 victory in seven innings.
Lietz's two-RBI single in the first gave the Wildcats an early lead, and Manjooran's RBI-double pushed them back in front 3-2 in the third. After Bryant moved ahead 5-3, Aidan Rice (sac fly) and Theo Loughlin (RBI-double) produced runs to tie it in the sixth.
Manjooran, Fritch and Will McCullough had two hits apiece.
Starter Jacob Vokal threw 3.2 innings and allowed six hits and two earned runs and struck out three in a no-decision.
