Wildcats Host Patriots in Final Home Series

Davidson's final home baseball series of the season commences Friday when Atlantic 10 Conference co-leader George Mason visits Wilson Field for a three-game series.

It marks the ninth of 10 conference weekends and will begin at 3 p.m. Friday, with 1 p.m. contests to follow on Saturday and Sunday.

Senior Day is set for Saturday's pregame, as the Wildcats will honor their eight-member class of 2025: Jack Cotrone, Isaac Fix, Noah Jouras, Eli Putnam, Landon Reeves, Chris Schuchart, Matt Weber and JD Woodall.

• Davidson enters the weekend 22-24 overall and 15-9 in A-10 play, which has the Wildcats in fourth place in the conference standings and two games out of first.
• The Wildcats have won four of their previous five games, including two of three against George Washington in A-10 play last weekend.
• A series win would be Davidson's seventh this year. The Wildcats have 2-1 series wins over Lafayette, UMass, St. Bonaventure and George Washington and swept VCU and Fordham.
• Davidson leads the league and ranks 13th nationally with 84 home runs and a .536 slugging percentage. The Wildcats set a single-game school record with nine home runs at Saint Joseph's (4/19).
