Bucknell Takes Sunday Finale, Series

With the series' second setback, the Wildcats exited the weekend 2-4.
Bucknell (3-3) led 7-1 after three-and-a-half innings, but the Wildcats climbed within range with a four-run fifth inning, highlighted by Adam Katz's two-run ground-rule double to right. Then the Bison answered with three runs in the next half-inning to regain control.
Landon Reeves' seventh-inning grounder through the right side scored two runs to finalize the scoring.
Davidson scored its first run in the third after Noah Jouras tripled to right-center, then scored on a Michael O'Shaughnessy sacrifice fly. Jouras finished 3-for-3, also including a double, and Forrest Lietz had two hits, including a double.
Freshman Jacob Vokal started for the first time and threw three innings, allowing three hits and two earned runs and striking out four.
