Wildcats Fall to Wofford at Wilson

Davidson (2-5) led 1-0 and 3-1 early, then rallied from a three-run deficit to tie the game at 6-6 in the fourth when Michael O'Shaughnessy drove in two runs with a double and Eli Putnam scored on a wild pitch.
But the Terriers (8-1) regained the lead on the first pitch of the fifth inning when Hunter Herndon homered to left. From there, the Terriers scored two runs in the sixth, one in the seventh and three in the ninth to seal it.
The Wildcats had instant offense in the first inning, as Noah Jouras and Jamie Daly hit back-to-back doubles to produce the game's first run.
In the second, Cooper Collins plated a run with a double, his first college hit, and Daly singled in Collins to make it 3-1.
Jouras, Daly and Putnam finished with two hits apiece, and Scotty Edwards got his first college hit on a pinch-hit single in the ninth.
Matt Weber got the start and threw 2.2 innings, allowing three hits and two earned runs, and striking out two in a no-decision.
