It's the 10th Atlantic 10 win for the Wildcats, who improved to 19-16 overall and 10-6 in league play. It's also Davidson's sixth straight A-10 victory and its eighth in the last nine league games.
Edwards drove in two runs on a single to highlight a three-run first inning and drove in two more with a single in the eighth. Matt Manjooran had a two-RBI double in the sixth, while Will Brooks (double) had the only other extra-base hit for the Wildcats, who were aided by four Saint Louis errors.
Yochum relieved starter Wilson Perkins with one on and two outs in a one-run game in the fourth and went the rest of the way. Throwing a career-high 5.1 innings, Yochum allowed four hits and two unearned runs, while walking one and punching eight.
Saint Louis (15-23) fell to 6-10 in the A-10.
