Wildcats Rally Past Aggies 8-6

The Wildcats improved to 20-23 with the win in their final non-conference contest of the regular season, as the Aggies fell to 14-29.
O'Shaughnessy's 14th home run of the season cut the Aggies' lead to 5-4, and after Noah Jouras scored on a wild pitch to tie it, Suarez delivered his first college hit at a key time to score Chris Schuchart from third and give the Wildcats their first lead of the night. After JD Woodall doubled, Cider Canon singled in Suarez and Woodall to give Davidson a three-run lead.
It was a night of firsts for the Wildcats, as Will Brooks hit his first college home run in the second inning. Pitcher Will Banks, who entered in the eighth, earned his first career win, and Daniel Smith recorded the final two outs to get his first save.
Up Next
Davidson will host George Washington in Atlantic 10 Conference play, beginning Friday.
