Baseball Drops Second Game at No. 4 Clemson

CLEMSON, S.C. — Clemson's baseball team strung together four straight multi-run innings and topped Davidson 14-4 in seven innings Saturday afternoon at Doug Kingsmore Stadium.
The No. 4 Tigers (14-1) built a 13-2 lead through five innings, then invoked the 10-run rule with a walk-off sacrifice fly in the seventh.
Davidson (4-9) got solo home runs from Jack Cotrone and Chris Schuchart in the sixth and seventh, respectively. Jamie Daly started the Wildcats' scoring with a two-run triple in the third.
Starter Isaac Fix threw 2.2 innings in the loss. He allowed nine hits and seven earned runs and struck out one.
