Baseball Falls at Charlotte

CHARLOTTE — The Charlotte 49ers scored 11 runs in the first three innings and never looked back en route to a 12-0 win over Davidson Wednesday night at Hayes Stadium.
With the seven-inning loss, the Wildcats fell to 4-11, while Charlotte improved to 8-7.
Davidson finished the night with two hits, an Eli Putnam single in the second inning and a Michael O'Shaughnessy single in the fourth.
Thad Ector led Charlotte, going 2-for-3 with a double, a home run and four RBIs.
