Wildcats Roll to 15-5 Win over Lafayette

The win evened the three-game weekend series and snapped a four-game losing skid for the Wildcats, who improved to 3-6.
Brooks finished 3-for-4 with two doubles and four RBIs, while Jack Cotrone was 3-for-3 with two doubles, two RBIs and a sacrifice fly. O'Shaughnessy and Cider Canon had two hits apiece, and eight Wildcats drove in runs, also including Noah Jouras, Jamie Daly, Eli Putnam and Cooper Collins.
After Lafayette struck first Saturday, the Wildcats scored five runs in the first and never trailed again.
Starter Isaac Fix threw 5.2 innings in the win, his first of the year. He allowed five hits and three earned runs and struck out three.
Jason Ban entered in the seventh with Davidson leading 8-5 and the bases loaded. He pitched the final two innings, allowing one hit and striking out one, to get his first save of the season.
