DAVIDSON, N.C. – After playing 12 of their last 16 games on the road, Davidson baseball returns home for a week of action, first welcoming border-rival Presbyterian College for a Tuesday tilt at Wilson Field.
The 'Cats are coming off a heartbreaking series loss on the road at George Washington, where the Colonials stole the series after a come-from-behind win in the rubber match Sunday.

THE SERIES
Davidson and Presby sit tied in the all-time series at 10-10. The two teams last met in 2015, when the 'Cats battled over the Blue Hose 5-4. Then-freshman Alec Acosta collected three hits and two RBI, while then-sophomore Tyler Agard picked up a single and RBI in a pinch hit appearance.
The two squads faced off twice in 2012, where the 'Cats lost both, but set a new program single-game record after tallying 10 stolen bases. Presby has won four of the last five outings against Davidson.
THE WILDCAT RUNDOWN
Senior Will Robertson made history over the weekend, after doubling in the first inning of Saturday's contest. He extended his hitting streak to 18 games, the longest in program history. Robertson followed that up with two hits on Sunday, including a triple, to move to 19 games. He has now collected an extra-base hit in 14 of his last 16 games.
The Wildcats will play their final midweek at home Tuesday, after five midweek contests at Wilson this season. The 'Cats are currently 2-3 in those games, after overwhelming victories over Gardner-Webb and Appalachian State, but falling to High Point, Notre Dame, and then-No. 17 Wake Forest.
Davidson continues to lead the league in long balls, with 41. Senior Brian Fortier spent the first 11 weeks of the season ranked at the top of the A-10 and near the top of the nation. He is currently one behind Rhode Island's Mike Corin (13), who finally dethroned Fortier over the past weekend. Fortier hit a towering 360-foot home run Sunday at George Washington, his 12th of the year. Sophomore Justin Lebek homered on Friday, marking his third long ball in what was his last four games. He now has five on the year, while classmate Eric Jones and senior Will Robertson have collected eight each.
SCOUTING THE BLUE HOSE
Presbyterian comes into Tuesday at the .500 mark with a 23-23 mark. The Blue Hose sit in third in the Big South standings 11-7, and have beaten two SEC teams on their resume this season, topping Alabama and Auburn. The team is led by Brett Auckland's .305, where he's tied for a squad-best four homers. A.J. Priaulx has 29 RBI and a .457 slugging percentage.
UP NEXT
Davidson will host Saint Louis in a critical A-10 series this weekend at Wilson Field.
