'Cats Hit 3 Homers in Loss at Duke

With the loss, the Wildcats fell to 12-14.
Outfielder Forrest Lietz hit a solo homer in the second inning, his fourth of the year, which matched designated hitter Anthony Torreso for the team lead. Catcher Brendan Fritch added a two-run blast, his first college home run, in a four-run fourth. And utility man Aidan Rice's solo shot in the eighth, his first this year, cut Duke's lead to 10-9.
Outfielder Jamie Daly finished with three hits and three RBIs, including an RBI-double in the third.
The Wildcats utilized seven pitchers, with relievers Keely Furr (2 IP) and Matt Hamilton (1 IP) having scoreless outings.
