Fordham Drops Wildcats In Series Finale

With the loss, the Wildcats dropped to 9-9 overall and 1-2 in the Atlantic 10.
Fordham (8-10, 2-1) led 2-0 early before Theo Loughlin tied the game with a two-run single in the fourth. Then the Rams scored six in the fifth and three in the seventh to break open the game. But they did most of their damage in the ninth off nine hits, including a Madden Ocko grand slam, and two Wildcat errors.
Will Brooks provided the other Wildcat offensive highlight, an RBI-double in the seventh.
Starter Ed Hall threw 4.2 innings in the loss.

The Wildcats are idle in the midweek and will play at A-10 foe La Salle next weekend.
