Baseball Falls to Wolfpack in Kannapolis

KANNAPOLIS — N.C. State scored six runs in the first inning and never looked back in a 13-0 win over Davidson Tuesday night at Atrium Health Ballpark.
Davidson (6-13) was held to four hits in the seven-inning contest.
N.C. State (15-6) hit three home runs, including a three-run shot by Chris McHugh in the first inning to start the night's scoring.
Michael O'Shaughnessy, Eli Putnam, Chris Schuchart and Cooper Collins had the Wildcat hits.

The Wildcats will host Atlantic 10 foe VCU this weekend at Wilson Field, beginning with a 5 p.m. contest Friday.
