'Cats Back Home to Host Loyola Chicago

DAVIDSON - The Davidson women's basketball team will look to bring its momentum back to John M. Belk Arena to host Loyola Chicago in an Atlantic 10 contest 7 p.m. Feb. 5.

Davidson leads the brief all-time series with Loyola Chicago 2-0 dating back to the Ramblers inaugural season in the A-10 in 2022-23. The Wildcats have picked up a win against LCU on the road and inside of Belk Arena.

Consecutive 3-pointers in a 42-second span helped the Davidson women's basketball team get separation in a tight game and emerge with a 54-51 win over VCU Feb. 2 at the Siegel Center.
Having endured seven ties and lead changes, the Wildcats led 46-45 in the fourth quarter before Mallorie Haines and Sienna Dauer hit treys to extend that lead to 52-45, matching the largest for either team, with 3:37 to play. VCU's final field goal came with 3:08 left.
Donovan scored a team-high 12 points, while Tomisin Adenupe scored nine and Dauer and Charlise Dunn added eight apiece.
