
Dunn's Solid Day Leads Wildcats Over George Washington 73-54

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Charlise Dunn tabbed 25 points including five made 3-pointers to help lead the Davidson women's basketball team to a 73-54 win at George Washington Sunday afternoon.
The win extends the Wildcats current winning streak to seven games while making them 17-11 overall and 12-4 in the Atlantic 10.
Dunn, in her 13th double-figure and fourth 20+-point game of the season, converted on 9-of-13 from the field and 5-of-8 from beyond the arc to pace the 'Cats offense. Additionally, Dunn rounded out an impressive afternoon with seven rebounds, four blocks and two steals in 31 minutes of action.
Millie Prior was just shy of a double-double with eight points, nine rebounds and three blocks while Katie Donovan (9) and Tomisin Adenupe (8) just missed the double-digit scoring threshold as well.
After Davidson led the majority of the first half, the Revolutionaries (11-16, 4-12) went on a 12-0 run, holding the Wildcats scoreless for 3:15 to take a narrow 32-30 advantage into the break.
Wasting no time reclaiming its lead, the Wildcats went on to outscore the Revs 28-13 in the third quarter before holding George Washington to just nine fourth quarter points.
Davidson used a .636 field goal percentage (14-of-22) in the second half to secure a 73-54 win over the Revolutionaries.
The Wildcat defense tallied eight blocks over the win while surrendering just two 3-pointers to the Revs.
Paige Mott led George Washington with a double-double of 10 points, 10 rebounds.
