DAVIDSON, N.C. — Charlise Dunn turned in her second 30-point game of the season and Davidson snapped a three-game losing streak with a 68-58 win over Atlantic 10 Conference foe George Washington Saturday afternoon in Belk Arena.
Dunn finished with 31 points, two points off her career-high from earlier this year against Baylor, as the Wildcats improved to 16-10 overall and 8-5 in the A-10.
Dunn scored 19 points in the second half, including 16 of 20 in one stretch. She finished 11-of-21 shooting from the field, 2-of-7 from 3-point range and 7-of-8 at the stripe, while also grabbing six rebounds. Katie Donovan scored in double figures as well, finishing with 11, while Kyra Bruyndoncx added nine.
The Victoria, Australia native is now the third Davidson women's basketball player in program history to record three 30-point games in a career, joining Jen O'Brien (1996-2000) and Justine Lyon (2015-2019).
The Wildcats led 37-33 at the intermission, thanks largely to a 9-0 run late in the second quarter, then took control for good with an 11-2 run in the third. That spurt included seven straight points after the Revolutionaries briefly took a two-point lead, and Davidson's lead peaked at 17 in the fourth.
Sara Lewis (25 points) and Gabby Reynolds (22) led the Revolutionaries, who fell to 13-12 and 5-7 in the league.
