'Cats Visit Queens Tuesday Night

One final midweek baseball game remains on Davidson's schedule, and it's Tuesday night at Queens.
The Wildcats will visit the Royals at 6 p.m. at the off-campus Stick Williams Dream Fields in Charlotte.
LATEST ON THE 'CATS
• Davidson is 17-25 overall after losing all three games against Atlantic 10 Conference foe Dayton over the weekend.
• Junior first baseman Eli Putnam is having a breakthrough campaign, a year after an injury sidelined him.
• Putnam is leading the A-10 with 13 home runs, 47 RBIs and 108 total bases. He has hit six home runs in the last eight games.
• Putnam also ranks second in the A-10 in slugging percentage (.679), third in runs (47) and fourth in batting average (.358).
• Davidson leads the A-10 with 55 home runs and hit a season-best six against N.C. A&T last Tuesday, including two from Putnam.
• Catcher Jacob Friend and third baseman Michael O'Shaughnessy have hit eight round-trippers.
• Since joining the lineup, catcher Noah Jouras is hitting .339.
