
Dayton Rallies Late, Tops Wildcats in Series Finale

The Wildcats exit the weekend 17-25 overall and 4-11 in the Atlantic 10, while Dayton improved to 28-15 and 10-4.
Three Wildcats homered Sunday, including Noah Jouras, whose two-run shot in the seventh put the Wildcats ahead 6-4.
Cider Canon hit a solo shot in the first to give the Wildcats and early lead, and Nick Calero's solo blast in the fifth cut a Dayton lead to 4-3.
A day after homering twice, Hunter Anderson singled in a run in the third, and Chris Schuchart's RBI-double in the sixth tied the game at 4-4.
Six Wildcats had two hits Sunday, including Jouras, Canon, Schuchart, Anderson, Eli Putnam and Aidan Rice.
Starter Isaac Fix threw four innings, and Wildcat pitchers struck out 10.
