Field Hockey Falls to No. 6 Liberty

LYNCHBURG, Va. — Liberty's Charlotte Vaanhold and Jill Bolton each scored three goals Sunday afternoon to lead the No. 6 Flames past Davidson 9-0 in field hockey.
With the loss, the Wildcats fall to 4-6 overall, while the Flames improve to 13-2.
Liberty scored three goals in the opening period and built a 5-0 lead by the half. The Flames had an 18-5 advantage in shots on goal, with Anna Sharp (2), Valerie Hajek, Natalie Naticchia and Corynne Hammit putting shots on goal for the Wildcats.

Davidson returns to Atlantic 10 Conference action with its final scheduled game at Richmond on Sunday, April 18 at 12 p.m.
