Richmond, Va. — Davidson's Ise Adams has been named to the Atlantic 10 Field Hockey All-Tournament Team, the league announced following conclusion of the tournament Saturday.
Adams, a freshman from Goirle, Netherlands, scored Davidson's goal in Friday's 2-1 semifinal loss to top-seeded Saint Joseph's.
"I am so proud of Ise and the way she stepped up in a big moment at the A10 Tournament," said coach Zoe Almquist. "She has shown tremendous grit and versatility all season, and earning All-Tournament Team honors as a first-year shows just how bright her future is with our program."
Adams finished the year with 14 points (4 goals, 6 assists) this year and was a member of the A10 All-Rookie Team.
Saturday's tournament final went down to a shootout, with Saint Joseph's holding off Richmond 2-1 to win its sixth straight title.
