Series at GW Set for a Saturday Start

The Davidson baseball team returns to action this weekend with a three-game Atlantic 10 series at George Washington.
The matchup, originally scheduled as a Friday-Saturday-Sunday series, will now include a Saturday doubleheader and one game on Sunday. There is a threat of inclement weather in Washington, D.C. on Friday.
The Wildcats and Colonials will begin play at 12 p.m. Saturday, with a second game set for approximately 3 p.m., and then meet at 12 p.m. Sunday as well.
Last time out
Davidson (17-15, 6-3 A-10) has won three of its last four games, including two within the conference against Rhode Island last weekend and a 10-8 home victory over non-conference foe Presbyterian on Tuesday night.
Alex Mardiney and Brett Centracchio homered against the Blue Hose, while left-handed starting pitcher Jaret LaCagnina had his best outing of the season on the mound.
The Colonials (21-16, 5-7) are coming off a 2-1 loss to William & Mary on Wednesday. George Washington dropped two of three A-10 games at UMass last weekend.
