The Wildcats hold a 3-0 mark against the Flames since first meeting in 2010. Last year saw them capture a pair of games, taking a 12-8 regular-season matchup, and then opening the NLC Tournament with an 11-6 first-round win.

Last Time Out...
... Davidson — Sophomore Ann Fucigna matched her season-high with five goals and six Wildcats in all had multi-goal games on the afternoon in carrying Davidson to a season-high tying 21 goals during a 21-5 National Lacrosse Conference road win at Howard (April 15).

The 'Cats netted a season-best 13 first-half goals and never looked back in scoring their biggest win of the season.

Davidson fired off a season-high 37 shots and went a season-best 7-for-10 on free-position shots, with Erin Keitel (2-for-3) and Alanna Parker (2-for-2) combining to go 4-for-5.

Erin Doherty followed with a season-best four goals, while Emily Cooke netted three goals. Erin Keitel, Paige Logan and Alanna Parker rounded out the multi-goal scorers on the day with two goals apiece. Doherty had five points off an assist and Keitel finished with four points after picking up a team-high two assists, while six other 'Cats picked up single assists.

... Longwood Longwood University suffered a difficult 22-4 women's lacrosse setback at the hands of visiting opponent Jacksonville on Sunday afternoon at the Athletics Complex in Farmville.

Senior captain Sam Stifler and junior Jamie Brentlinger each scored two goals apiece in the loss to the Dolphins.

Longwood opened the game with a potential scoring opportunity on a nice shot from senior captain Jessica Rudloff|West Chester, Pa. (West Chester), but JU's Karli Tobin made the save in net and started the Dolphins counterattack. Jacksonville proceeded to fire 10 shots in five minutes, which ultimately resulted in the first of 11 unanswered goals at 22:09.

... Liberty — The Flames, who play at High Point on Friday before coming to Davidson Sunday, scored a 22-21 win in a back-and-forth affair last time out (April 15) vs. Presbyterian.

Looking to close her class' home career with a victory, Kristin Crowley knotted the game, 20-20, with just six seconds remaining in regulation as she converted a free-position shot. The Colorado Springs, Colo., native then set up teammate Candice Parsons for a go-ahead goal in the first three-minute frame of overtime.

Presbyterian's Catherine Ellis netted her game-high seventh goal on the afternoon shortly after, squaring the game at 21, 32 seconds before the teams traded ends.

With just over a minute remaining in overtime, freshman Sam Struss scored her 10th goal of the season to put the Lady Flames ahead for good, with Amber Nichols providing her second assist of the afternoon.

While the visiting Blue Hose grabbed the ensuing draw control, Chloe McIntosh's third caused turnover of the game allowed Hillary Bullock to grab the ground ball and regain possession for the Lady Flames.
