2009: Played in all 10 games • Caught two passes for 43 yards and a TD for the season • Caught a pass for 31 yards vs. Lenoir-Rhyne • Caught a TD pass for 12 yards vs. Campbell.
2008: Played in all 11 games on offense and special teams • Caught five passes for 32 yards on the season • Had three catches for 17 yards at Drake and two receptions for 15 yards vs. Dayton. 2007: Played in eight games • Caught a pass for 28 yards in the season finale vs. Valparaiso • Blocked a punt against Drake and helped cause three safeties on punts in that game.
Prep Years: Three-year letterman in football for coach and father Tim Sarver at Harrisonburg High School • Valley District Offensive Player of the Year, first-team all-district, second-team all-region, all-area and team MVP • Led team to 33-3 record as the starting quarterback, including three consecutive district titles • Harrisonburg won the region and was the state runner-up in 2004 • Also lettered in baseball and track • A team captain and two-time all-district outfielder in baseball • Harrisonburg High School Most Outstanding Athlete and National Honor Society.
