2019 (Freshman): Made six mound appearances, throwing five innings • Made his college debut against Towson (May 16) and struck out two as part of a 1-2-3 eighth inning • Threw 1.2 hitless innings, with two strikeouts, against Toledo (March 2) • Threw a 1-2-3 inning at St. Bonaventure (May 16) consisting of three flyouts.
Before Davidson: A four-time all-region selection at First Presbyterian Day School • Named all-state as a junior and senior • Received Golden Arm Award in 2017 and 2018 • Named to Perfect Game All-Southeast Regional team • Also played two years of basketball and four years of football in high school.
Personal: Son of Jeff and Becky Takac • Born Nov. 5, 1999 • Has a brother, Micah • Majoring in neuroscience.
