2024: Transitioned into a bullpen role, where he made 19 appearances, second-most on the team • Had a 10.96 ERA in 23.0 innings • Earned his first win against Siena (3/23).
2023: Played in 15 games, mostly as a defensive replacement • Earned his first college hit on a single at Richmond (5/20).
2022: Appeared in 12 games as a defensive replacement and pinch runner • Scored three runs and drew three walks, including two against Rhode Island (4/23).
2021: Played in three games • Earned a walk in his third plate appearance.
Before Davidson: Played four years of football and baseball at Cy-Fair High • Earned Academic All-State and All-District honors in both sports in 2018, 2019 and 2020 • Helped the football team win a state title in 2017 and was on regional championship baseball and football teams in 2018 and 2019.
Personal: Son of Kevin and Shawn • Born Oct. 2, 2001 • Has a brother, Alex • His grandfather, Jan Van Slate, played basketball and ran track at Loyola.
