2020 (Shortened by COVID-19): Went 1-1 with a 3.24 ERA in three appearances and 8.1 innings • Threw 1.1 innings and struck out two while earning the win over Georgetown (2/22), in his first action since the 2018 season opener • Threw five innings in a no-decision against Winthrop (2/26).
2019: Did not participate as he recovered from an injury.
2018: First member of the freshman class to appear in the 2018 season, tossing two-thirds of an inning and allowing no hits on Opening Day (2/18 vs. Lafayette) • Missed the duration of the year due to injury and redshirted.
Before Davidson: Attended Saint Michael’s Catholic Academy where he earned six letters across baseball and football… named all-district and all-academic baseball in both 2016 and 2017… led the Crusaders to a regional championship in 2015 and 2016 as well as being state semi-finalists in 2015… posted a career ERA of 1.50 with 154 strikeouts, 15 wins, and four saves.
Personal: Born April 21, 1999… Son of Todd and Ryma Biederman… has an older sister, Meg… grandfather Fred was a running back for the University of Minnesota… planning to major in economics with a minor in communications.
