2008: Named Academic All-SoCon… got injured on his way to first base after an RBI single in the first game of the season Feb. 23… didn’t return to the starting lineup until April 2… played in 26 contests and started 25… made 21 starts at shortstop and for as the designated hitter… batted cleanup in 14 games, third in five contests and fifth six times… had 10 games with multiple hits… went 3-for-6 with a homer and five RBIs vs. Wake Forest (4/15)… was 3-for-4 with an RBI vs. Duke (4/23)… went 3-for-5 with two doubles, a home run and three RBIs at Furman (5/4)… went 3-for-5 with two doubles, a homer and three RBIs at UNCG (5/14)… made four appearances on the mound and gave up three runs in seven innings.
