2008: Named Academic All-SoCon… got injured on his way to first base after an RBI single in the first game of the season Feb. 23… didn’t return to the starting lineup until April 2… played in 26 contests and started 25… made 21 starts at shortstop and for as the designated hitter… batted cleanup in 14 games, third in five contests and fifth six times… had 10 games with multiple hits… went 3-for-6 with a homer and five RBIs vs. Wake Forest (4/15)… was 3-for-4 with an RBI vs. Duke (4/23)… went 3-for-5 with two doubles, a home run and three RBIs at Furman (5/4)… went 3-for-5 with two doubles, a homer and three RBIs at UNCG (5/14)… made four appearances on the mound and gave up three runs in seven innings.

2007: Named second-team All-Southern Conference by the media… named to SoCon Academic Honor Roll… won Davidson’s Most Valuable Pitcher Award with Rob Wilson… started all 53 games at shortstop… hit second in the order 49 times and first in three games… had 18 multiple-hit games and eight contests with multiple RBIs… opened the season with a 10-game hitting streak… had four hits on two occasions – vs. Furman March 3 and vs. Cornell March 14… had three home runs and seven RBIs against the Big Red… was 3-for-5 with three RBIs vs. Gardner-Webb May 1… posted a 3-1 record with eight saves on the mound… allowed six runs and struck out 26 in 30 innings… second on the team with 22 appearances… fanned five in three scoreless innings at Wofford… pitched four scoreless frames at College of Charleston May 18… did not allow a run in his first five appearances or his last five appearances.

2006: Missed the season after undergoing Tommy John surgery … SoCon Honor Roll.

Prep Years: Two-time all-conference, all-city and team captain for Coach Joel Davis at Stanton … posted 0.18 ERA and eight strikeouts per nine innings as a senior … hit .412 as a junior, .386 as a senior … committed just two errors in final season … National Honor Society … Scholar-Athlete of the Year.
