Richmond Evens Series, Sets Up Decisive Sunday Finale

That evened the series, setting up a decisive third game on Sunday.
The Wildcats, now 24-20 overall and 15-8 in the A-10, got an RBI-single from Matt Manjooran in the fifth and a two-RBI single from Matthew Vannoy in the sixth. Vannoy led the way with three hits, while Manjooran had two.
But the Spiders (26-20, 13-10) did their damage with three runs on two hits and an error in the fifth and two hits leading to four runs in the sixth. Dylan Winebrenner had two hits and three RBIs to lead the Spiders.
On the mound, starter Cooper Cavanaugh threw five innings, allowing three hits and four earned runs, while striking out five.
