'Cats Down Revs on Senior Day, 15-8

DAVIDSON, N.C. – The Davidson Wildcats closed out the home season, and Senior Day, with a 15-8 win over George Washington Saturday afternoon.
The victory puts the 'Cats back in the win column, as they improve to 11-4 on the season and 7-2 in A-10 play heading into the final week of the regular season.
Jenna Skibbe led the way with a five-goal, one-assist performance, which marked her 100th career goal and first career assist. Brooke Ross, Devyn Martinez and Josie Lambert each contributed two goals apiece, while Lambert remains one-goal shy of moving into fifth place all-time in career scoring.
After a balanced attack from both sides, Skibbe notched her second goal of the day to put Davidson in front 7-5 heading into halftime. From there, the Wildcats took off on an 8-0 run to pull ahead comfortably 14-5, with 6:21 left to play, and hung on for the 15-8 victory.
Freshman Aeryn Curren aided the offense with five draw controls, while senior Riley Moore led on both ends of the field with four ground balls, three draw controls and three caused turnovers.
