Wildcats Fall to Richmond in A-10 Semifinals

PITTSBURGH – The No. 3 Davidson lacrosse team fell 16-5 to No. 2 Richmond in the Atlantic 10 semifinals Friday evening.
The Spiders jumped all over a 7-1 start and never looked back, taking 30 shots with 26 on goal while causing 16 Wildcat turnovers.
Josie Lambert led the way for Davidson, scoring a pair of goals, including her second which cut the Wildcats' deficit back to six, 10-4, with 6:52 remaining in the third period.
Kella McGrail recorded her first career goal with 4:44 left in the contest, while Jenna Skibbe and Riley Moore each added a score of their own.
Davidson concludes the 2024 campaign 11-7 overall, including a program-best 7-2 finish in Atlantic 10 Conference play.
