Davidson fell to 14-20 overall and 2-7 in the Atlantic 10, while Saint Louis (25-8) moved to 7-2 in league play.
The Billikens scored five runs in the first on three hits and an error and never trailed.
The Wildcats scored both their runs in the third inning. Eli Putnam singled in Aidan Rice, then scored on Michael O'Shaughnessy's single.
Noah Jouras doubled for the Wildcats' lone extra-base hit.
Davidson pitcher Ryan Feczko threw one inning in the loss.
