Three 'Cats Earn Postseason Honors from A-10

DAVIDSON, N.C. – The Atlantic 10 released postseason awards for men's soccer on Monday, and three Wildcats earned recognition. Denis Krioutchenkov was selected to the first team, Vincent Bennage made the second team, and Ayman Maadir earned all-rookie honors.
Krioutchenkov, a sophomore from Milwaukee, Wisconsin, ended the season with nine goals and two assists for a total of 20 points. The second-year striker finished the year ranked third in the A-10 in goals scored, fourth in points, third in shots on goal (28), and was tied for second in game-winning goals (3) in his 991 minutes played. This year's honor marks the second straight season Krioutchenkov earned postseason accolades. He was a second team and all-rookie selection as a freshman last year.
Fellow forward, Vincent Bennage, earned a spot on the second team after also having a highly productive season. The Kenosha, Wisconsin product was on the pitch for 1,006 minutes and started all but two games in 2023. He finished his junior campaign with seven goals and five assists for a total of 19 points. Those 19 points were tied for fifth most in the A-10, and he also was tied for fifth in goals. It was Bennage's second time being named to the postseason list as he earned all-rookie honors his freshman year.
Also earning recognition as a major contributor in his first season was Ayman Maadir. The Langtree Charter product played in all 16 games and started nine, mostly on the back line, for the Wildcats. Maadir logged a total of 888 minutes and helped the 'Cats record seven shutouts on the season with three of those in games he started.
