THE SERIES
In a series that began in 1912, Stetson leads the all-time series 6-4. Davidson has won just once in six tilts since the Hatters re-instituted the football program in 2013. The 'Cats won three straight from 1954-56.

LAST TIME OUT
Davidson erupted for 33 points second quarter points in a convincing 52-10 win at Butler last Saturday. Davidson spread the wealth as 14 different Wildcats' attempted rushes led by junior Wesley Dugger's 24 carries for 118 yards and two touchdowns. The 'Cats gained a season-tying 459 yards on the ground out of 549 total yards. Senior cornerback Rayshawn McCall led a balanced Davidson defensive effort with seven stops, four of the solo efforts. Junior corner Jaylon Bolden picked off his first career pass, while sophomore defensive linemen Jordan Reed and Chibuike Odo each sack the Bulldog quarterback. Freshman cornerback Kaedon Jenkins intercepted his first career pass.

SCOUTING THE HATTERS
Following a PFL-opening loss to Marist in the middle of September, Stetson (6-3, 3-3 PFL) rattled off four straight victories before falling in two of their last three outings - most recently to league-leading San Diego, 51-7, last Saturday at Spec Martin Stadium. The Hatters sit in the top four of the league in almost every team category minus pass defense, where they rank ninth. Running back Jalen Leary is approaching 1,000 yards on the season, entering the final two weeks with 879 on the ground. Leary's seven scoring scampers edges out backfield mate Jareem Westcott's five and quarterback Gaven DeFilippo's four. Hatter wide out Justin Jordan has hauled in four TD grabs and averages 53.1 yards receiving oper game. Colby Duncan fills the defensive stat sheet with 66 total tackles, 6.5 for loss and an interception.
