DAVIDSON, N.C. – Coming off a two-game road swing, Davidson returns to Alumni Stadium, Saturday evening to open Atlantic 10 play with a 6 p.m. contest against Dayton.
Members of the 1992 Final Four team will be honored this weekend as Davidson College celebrates the 25th Anniversary of their storybook season.
The Wildcats enter 5-2-1 overall following a pair of 2-1 setbacks to Virginia Tech (9/19) and nationally-ranked Virginia (9/25).
Davidson led 1-0 following a 70th minute goal from Ned Morrissett, but the Cavaliers made the most of its two-man advantage late in the contest, scoring a pair of goals in the final 12:45, including one with a second remaining.
Morrissett and junior Coleman Richards lead the Wildcats with three goals and seven total points each.
Dayton, which has dropped four of its last five contests, comes in 3-5-2 after a 1-0 loss at West Virginia last weekend.
Thor Helgason paces the Flyers' offense with four goals.
This marks just the second meeting as conference opponents with Dayton claiming the previous on its home pitch, 2-0, Oct. 4, 2014.

Davidson will play its next two on the road beginning with a 7 p.m. game at VCU Wednesday, before traveling to Olean, N.Y. for a Saturday afternoon contest with St. Bonaventure.
