Field Hockey Shutout At No. 7 UNC

DURHAM, N.C. – Davidson field hockey suffered its second-straight shutout of the season, falling 10-0 to No. 7 North Carolina on the campus of Duke University.
The Wildcats were unable to record a shot, but sophomore Sarah Zeszotarski turned in a career-high 10 saves in the contest. Junior Courtney Byler logged her second defensive save of the season, a statistic she led the league in a year ago.
North Carolina scored three times in the first half to build an early lead, and then added cushion after registering seven goals in the second half.
The 'Cats return to Belk Turf Friday this weekend, welcoming league-foe La Salle on Friday at 5:30 p.m. and Ohio on Sunday at noon.
