DAVIDSON, N.C. — The Davidson women's soccer team looks to close out the regular season with the push and support from their fans by starting a three-game homestand Saturday night against Atlantic 10-foe Saint Louis.

The Matchup
Davidson (4-11-1, 1-4 A-10), which has been on the road all but one game during a seven-game stretch that went from Sept. 21 to Oct. 19, returns home for its final three regular season games. The 'Cats start it off by hosting Saint Louis at 7 p.m. in Alumni Stadium Saturday.

Promotion
Saturday's game is also the Wildcats' Kick Pink game as fans are encouraged to wear pink as part of Breast Cancer Awareness month. There will be a baked goods sale, raffle and silent auction all put on in conjunction with Connor House Bosom Buddies. There will also be a chance to win two tickets to the Davidson men's basketball game against North Carolina at Time Warner Cable, Nov. 22. In addition, as part of the silent auction, fans have a chance to win men's and women's basketball season tickets.

The All-Time Series/Last Meetings
The Wildcats and Billikens are playing for just the second time. They both matched up in 2002  on a neutral field at the Wisconsin Invitational, with SLU winning 2-0

Scouting the Wildcats
Davidson (4-11-1, 1-4 A-10) dropped its third and fourth straight 1-0 decision, falling on the road last weekend ... it marked the seventh one-goal defeat on the year, with six of those being 1-0 decisions ... the Wildcats' last goal came in the 58th minute at St. Bonaventure, Oct. 3, a span of 412 scoreless minutes ... this past weekend, Davidson wrapped up a stretch of playing six games out of seven in a row on the road ... leading the offense is Stephanie Piperno (3 goals, 1 assist) and Vicky Bruce (1 goal, team-best 3 assists) with seven points each ... Rachel Locke, who ranks third all-time in the Wildcat record books in both saves (313) and shutouts (18), is second in the league with 79 saves ... she is seventh with four shutouts and carries a 1.15 goals against average into the weekend (6th in A-10) ... the senior has 23 career wins ... Davidson is 2-4-1 at home this year ... head coach Greg Ashton won his 176th career game, 105th at Davidson, in a road victory at the Bonnies, Oct. 3 ... he is 14 wins away from becoming the program's all-time winningest coach ... Davidson is playing its first year in the Atlantic 10 after a 20-year run in the SoCon (116-58-30, three regular season titles and four tournament titles) ... the Wildcats return 16 letterwinners, including eight starters ... the 'Cats were picked to finish 12th in their first year in the A-10.

Scouting the Billikens
Saint Louis (7-8, 2-3 A-10) earned its second Atlantic 10 win last Friday against Fordham (W, 2-0), before falling to La Salle (L, 1-2) Sunday in a pair of home games ... Maddy Bush and Cristina Rodriguez (twice) combined to score the three goals last week ... Rodriguez is tied with Kirsten Clemens with 16 points on six goals and four assists ... Danielle Tolmais has a team-high five assists ... 10 players have scored at least one goal, with half of them scoring three or more ... in addition, 10 players have also earned at least one assist with nine of them earning two or more on the season ... the Billikens' 29 goals and 29 assists overall as a team are third-most in the A-10 in each category ... goalkeeper Hanna Benben has started all 15 games, owning a 1.59 goals against average with 71 saves ... her saves total ranks third in the league ... SLU is 4-5 on the road, with wins coming against Evansville, Drake, Illinois-Chicago and Saint Joseph's ... it went 5-5 overall in non-conference contests ... the Billikens return nine starters and 18 letterwinners in all from last year's 6-10-3 team (5-2-1 A-10) ... head coach Katie Shields is in her second year after serving as an assistant coach in 2012.

Davidson concludes the regular season with home games against Rhode Island and Massachusetts, Oct. 31-Nov. 2. Sunday's game vs. UMass will also be Senior Day.
