'Cats Rally, Earn 3-3 Draw Against Elon

DAVIDSON, N.C. - Down 3-1, Sophia Whiddon and Adriana Dunat delivered late goals and Davidson earned a 3-3 draw against Elon on Thursday night. Whiddon scored off an assist from Kiera Pohan in the 83rd minute and Dunat scored in the 84th minute. Dunat finished the match with two goals.
The Wildcats started the contest strong with an opening goal from Adriana Dunat in the 19th minute. Madelyn Hayes contributed with an assist on the score. Davidson led 1-0 after the first 45 minutes of action.
Elon jumped out of the second half and score three unanswered goals. The Phoenix scored in the 53rd minute, 69th minute, and 79th minute.
Davidson finished with eight corner kicks on the match. Total shots were close, favoring the Wildcats 20-19.
