Chad Emmons
Chad Emmons joined the Davidson strength and conditioning staff in July 2015. Emmons will work with the men's soccer men and women’s tennis, lacrosse and cheer and dance programs.
 
Emmons comes to Davidson after serving as a strength and conditioning intern at the University of Maryland. He worked closely with the baseball, women’s golf and women’s soccer teams, while also assisting cheerleading, men’s soccer, track and field and field hockey.
 
Prior to his stint at Maryland, Emmons spent two years at his alma mater Ouachita Baptist. After graduating with a bachelor of arts in kinesiology and fitness in 2011, Emmons served as a graduate assistant for a year before transitioning into a leadership role. From 2013-14, Emmons served as the primary football strength and conditioning coach, while also acting as the defensive backs coach.
 
Emmons earned a masters of science in sports administration from Henderson State University in 2013. He is a certified member of the National Strength and Conditioning Association and USA Olympic Weightlighting Level 1 Performance.
