Casey Finishes Third in A-10's Pentathlon

VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. – Hannah Casey finished third in the pentathlon to highlight day one of competition for the Davidson women's indoor track and field team at the 2025 Atlantic 10 Conference Championships Friday.
 
A junior from Naples, Fla., Casey concluded the event with 3,475 points, which included top-five showings in the Pent 60H (9.00 / 3rd), Pent Long Jump (5.36m / 4th) and Pent 800m (2:29.13 / 5th).
 
Freshman Bella Cantorna also scored for the Wildcats inside the Virginia Beach Sports Center placing seventh in the pole vault, while senior Anne Berquist finished the 5K in 17:14.27 to place eighth.
 
Aleia Gisolfi-McCready (8.61) and Mikayla Wills (8.62) crossed the line 1-2 in the prelims of the 60H to advance to tomorrow's final. Both Wildcats broke Wills' previous school record, which she set a couple weeks ago.
 
Gisolfi-McCready also turned in a solid showing in the 500m to earn the final spot into Saturday's final.
 
The final day of competition will begin tomorrow morning at 9 a.m.
