VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. – Freshmen Mikayla Wills and Stefania Williams set new program records in their respective events to pace the Davidson women's indoor track and field team at the 2025 Division I Pre-Nationals at the Virginia Beach Sports Center.

After running a 9.01 in the prelims of the 60 hurdles earlier in the day, Wills turned in an 8.63 in the finals, breaking her own school standard, while coming home second.

Williams, a classmate of Wills and native of nearby Mooresville, N.C., was just as impressive in the long jump with a mark of 5.47m (17' 11 ½"), tying the best jump in Davidson history.

In the 800 meters, Katie Deacon finished 10th with a new personal record of 2:20.81
