
'Cats Tie Single-Game 3-Point Record in Road Win at St. Bonaventure

OLEAN, N.Y. - Charlise Dunn (17), Mallorie Haines (15) and Tomisin Adenupe (10) combined for 42 to help propel Davidson to a wire-to-wire 83-45 victory over St. Bonaventure Saturday inside the Reilly Center.
The win improves the Wildcats to 10-8 overall and 5-1 in conference play while the Bonnies fall to 5-13 and 1-6.
For the second time this season, Davidson tied a program-best 14 made 3-pointers with Haines leading the charge going 5-of-9 from distance as well as Adenupe a perfect 2-of-2 effort beyond the arc. Additionally, the 'Cats connected on a season-best 34 field goals overall as all 13 players that touched the court scored at least one basket.
Millie Prior stuffed the stats sheet with a game-high 10 rebounds to go along with four assists, two steals and a block in just 17 minutes of action. Dunn tallied six rebounds and three steals while Candice Lienafa contributed defensively as well with five rebounds and a pair of blocks.
A game-opening Haines triple sparked a 10-0 run for the Wildcats in the first quarter that would eventually blossom into a 44-18 halftime lead.
The Bonnies came out of the break looking to chip away at the deficit, playing an even 15-15 third quarter with the 'Cats and keeping them to just 30.0 percent from the floor and 18.2 from 3-point range.
However, Davidson regained its momentum in the final quarter torching the nets at 62.5 percent overall and outscoring St. Bonaventure 24-12 on the way to a 38-point triumph on the road.
The Wildcats held advantages over the Bonnies in rebounds (36-25), points in the paint (40-16) and points off turnovers (27-8) while the 'Cats bench tallied 40 of its 83 points.
Zoe Shaw led the way for St. Bonaventure with 13 points and six rebounds.
