Burkholder and Omonije Shine on Final Day of Charlotte Invite

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – A week after breaking her own program record in the pole vault, Davidson's Megan Burkholder matched her personal best on the final day of the 2024 Charlotte Invite.
A senior from Cozad, Neb., Burkholder recorded a height of 3.90m | 12' 9.5" for the second time in as many competitions to finish eighth out of 28 competitors.
Freshman Grace Zagoria also performed well in the event with a new season-best jump of 3.60m | 11' 9.75", which was good enough for 13th place.
Fellow field competitor, Sola Omonije, also equaled her personal record in the high jump with a mark of 1.70m | 5' 7", while coming home sixth.

Davidson will travel to Fairfax, Va., for the 2024 Atlantic 10 Track & Field Championships hosted by George Mason May 4-5.
