Men's Soccer Falls to Flyers in Home Finale

DAVIDSON – The Davidson College men's soccer team fell 5-1 to the No. 25 Dayton Flyers in their final home game on Saturday night.
The visitors used two goals in the first half, one in the 22nd minute and another in the 42nd minute, to quiet the large crowd at Alumni Stadium. Dayton added three more after halftime to put it out of reach.
Davidson avoided the shutout behind a late goal from Denis Krioutchenkov in the 87th minute. Senior Lyman Ott secured the assist.

The Wildcats will hit the road for their final two contests, starting with a midweek non-conference match at Virginia Tech on Tuesday.
