Lauer Finishes T-3rd at Appalachian State Invitational

LENOIR, N.C. – Behind a final round 72, Davidson's Adam Lauer finished tied for third to lead three Wildcat individuals at the 2024 Appalachian State Invitational.
The two-day/36-hole was played at Cedar Rock Country Club.
A senior from Pittsburgh, Lauer (+3) opened the individual-only event with a 75 before recording a pair of birdies and eagle Sunday en route to his lowest career finish.
The Wildcats' Will Tharin (T-14) and Price Miller (T-20) also competed this weekend.
Western Carolina's Dalton Payne used a two-under 70 in the final round to claim the individual title.

Davidson will conclude its fall campaign at the Monterrey Collegiate hosted by George Washington University in Monterrey, Mexico, Oct. 25-26.
