‘Cats Conclude Another Banner Season at NCAA Regional

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. – Davidson, a five-time champion of the Atlantic 10 Conference, concluded its 2025 season Wednesday afternoon at the NCAA Tallahassee Golf Regional on the Seminole Legacy Golf Club layout.  
 
Will Davis, led the Wildcats this week with 54-hole totals of 13-over 229. Fellow all-conference performer and A-10 Player of the Year Joshua Stewart finished one back of his teammate.
 
Sophomore Will Tharin (+15) finished one back of Davidson's seniors, while Nate Faulkner (+16) and Davis Sayman (+21) were also in the lineup.
 
The host Seminoles (-29) led wire-to-wire to capture the regional by nine shots over Ole Miss (-20). In addition, Florida State's Luke Clanton claimed individual medalist with a three-day total of 15-under.

Six 54-hole regional tournaments were conducted May 12-14. Thirteen teams and 10 individuals not on those teams competed at each of three regionals while the other three regionals had 14 teams and five individuals not on those teams.
 
Florida State, Ole Miss, New Mexico, Georgia and Augusta advance to the finals along with Notre Dame's Jacob Modleski (-9), who was the lowest individual not on one of the top-five teams.

Team and individual medalist titles will be decided May 23-28 at Omni La Costa Resort & Spa in Carlsbad, California. Texas is the host institution for the 2025 championships.           

Highlighted by its fifth conference crown since 2018, Davidson concludes the 2025 campaign with a pair of wins, giving the Wildcats' 14 since 2017.
