The 'Cats go into Tuesday in search of their first program win over Dayton as the Flyers hold a 12-0 advantage in the all-time series over Davidson dating back to the 2014-15 season.
The 'Cats most recently fell to the Flyers in a narrow 66-60 contest on the road in Ohio Jan. 11, 2023.
Elle Sutphin recorded a 15-point, 13-rebound double-double while Suzi-Rose Deegan tallied 12 points and nine rebounds and Mallorie Haines chipped in 11 points.

LAST TIME OUT...
The Wildcats extended their undefeated streak to five games with a dominant 83-46 win over Longwood Saturday in John. M Belk Arena. Five of Davidson's seven victories on the year have been by at least a 10-point margin.
Four 'Cats tallied double-figures in Mallorie Haines (22), Millie Prior (17), Suzi-Rose Deegan (11) and Sylvie Jackson (10). Prior also led on the boards with 19 rebounds.
PRIOR IN THE PAINT...
Prior has shown dominance in the paint throughout the season and more specifically over the last three contests as she has recorded a double-double in those trio of games. Prior highlighted the week with an impressive 17-point, 19-rebounds performance against Longwood in which she played just 23 minutes. Prior fell one point short of tallying her double-double at the halftime break, but needed just under three minutes in the third quarter to eclipse it.
On the defensive end of the floor, not only is Prior leading the way on the boards, she has also tallied a total of 17 blocks this season making her 20th in all of Division I. Additionally, among the Nation's leaders, Prior is 21st in offensive rebounds per game (4.0) and 27th in blocks per game (2.1).

As a team, the Wildcats continue to be among the conference leaders in multiple categories.
• The Wildcats are second in scoring defense (53.1) and scoring margin (+18.4)
• Davidson is third in field goal percentage (44.5).
• The 'Cats are fourth in blocks per game (3.9), rebounding margin (+9.0), offensive rebounds per game (13.8), scoring (71.5) and 3-pointers per game (7.4).

CONFERENCE OPENER RESUME...
Davidson will look to break even in season openers dating back to their inaugural season in the A-10 in 2014-15. Currently the Wildcats are 4-5 when opening up league competition with their last A-10 opener win of the year having been during the 2021-22 season over St. Bonaventure.
MAKING THE MOST OF SECOND CHANCES...
The 'Cats hold a +44 margin in second chance points over their competitors. Much in part due to Davidson's 13.8 offensive rebounds per game which is the fourth-best among the A-10 currently.
HAINES' HOT HAND...
Haines played a career game Saturday against Longwood as she went for a game-high and new career-best 22 points that saw her sink six 3-pointers on a 7-of-10 overall shooting performance from the floor. Haines is shooting an efficient 48.4 percent from beyond the arc with 16 total treys to her name.
HOME COURT HEROES...
Davidson has compiled five consecutive winning seasons at home (8-5, 10-6, 5-4, 7-6, 6-4) from the 2018-19 campaign to the 2022-23 season. The Wildcats have averaged 65.9 points per game inside of Belk Arena over the last five seasons. Davidson is already off to an undefeated (5-0) start this year.

The Flyers found a three-game winning streak come to an end after a 67-59 loss in UD Arena Friday to Purdue.
A LOOK AT THE FLYERS...
Dayton enters the early week shooting .404 from the floor overall while averaging 69.1 points and 43.0 rebounds per game. The Flyers' 73.6 percentage at the foul line lands them fourth in the conference in addition to ranking second in overall rebounding average and first in offensive rebounds per game.
Leading the way for the Flyers is Ivy Wolf with per game averages of 12.5 points, 3.5 rebounds and 3.4 assists per game as well as Arianna Smith with 9.7 points, 12.0 rebounds, 1.6 assists and 1.1 steals per game. Destiny Bohanon also averages double-digit points each game with 11.3.
