In addition to the first triumph over the Flyers in 13 tries, Davidson (8-1, 1-0 A-10) extended its winning streak to six straight while continuing to improve on the best start in program history.
Deegan, a redshirt-senior from Perth, Australia, finished 10-of-12 from the floor in 32 minutes for the 'Cats, who finished with 56 points in the paint and a season-low seven turnovers.
Issy Morgan added 15 points for Davidson, while Charlise Dunn and Millie Prior scored 12 points each. Prior also pulled down 6 rebounds to go along with three of her team's 7 blocks on the night.
