Davidson will conclude its brief homestand Saturday evening when Presbyterian visits Richardson Stadium for a 7 p.m. kickoff.
Winners of five straight, the Wildcats enter 5-2 overall and 4-0 in Pioneer Football League action following a 42-21 win over Valparaiso last weekend.
Saturday's meeting with the Blue Hose will be the third annual Carolina Border Clash / Battle for the 1919 Cup.
A year ago, the Wildcats defeated Presbyterian, 56-24, to retain the 1919 Cup.
Davidson has won 16 of its last 17 home games dating back to the 2021 season.
The 'Cats, who have won two of the last three conference titles, are 26-7 in PFL play dating back to the 2019 season.
During its current five-game win streak, Davidson is averaging 53.0 points per game.

In the second installment of the Carolina Border Clash, Davidson defeated Presbyterian, 56-24, on the road, to retain the 1919 Cup.
The 'Cats put up 626 yards of offense in their conference opener, led by quarterback Jayden Waddell with 189 yards in the air, an additional 105 on the ground and two touchdowns.
TJ Magee got Davidson started on the right foot, returning the opening kickoff 89 yards for a touchdown.
From there, Mark McCurdy scampered for 24 yards into the end zone to give Davidson a 14-3 lead heading into the second quarter. Coy Williams scored his first touchdown of the night following a huge 82-yard reception from Maxwell Weaver.
Clarence Freeman recorded his first touchdown of the season off a 67-yard reception from Waddell before McCurdy's second of the night - a 30-yard catch from Luke Durkin.
Davidson held Presbyterian to 331 total yards in comparison to its 626. Yusef Thomas, Cam'ron Willis and Marcus Heard Jr. all tallied seven tackles apiece. Jordan Burrell recorded his second interception of the season.

LAST TIME OUT | DAVIDSON 42, VALPO 21 - OCT. 21, 2023 | DAVIDSON, N.C.

Running back Mason Sheron rushed for 103 yards and three touchdowns to lead Davidson past Valparaiso 42-21 in Pioneer Football League action Saturday afternoon at Richardson Stadium.
Sheron ran 16 times at an average of 6.4 yards per carry and scored on runs of 2, 38 and 8 yards, as the Wildcats totaled 265 yards on 58 carries (4.6 yards per rush).
Davidson, which led 21-0 at the half, converted on four of its five fourth-down attempts, including twice on the game's opening possession, a 12-play, 82-yard drive that spanned six minutes and 20 seconds. After Coulter Cleland found Maxwell Weaver for a 41-yard pass play on fourth-and-3 from the Valpo 43, Mari Adams scored on a 2-yard run, his eighth touchdown in the last three games.
The Wildcats also converted on two fourth downs on a third-quarter scoring drive that was capped by Will Cox's 1-yard touchdown run that made it 35-7.
Cleland finished 11-of-15 passing for 148 yards and tossed a 12-yard touchdown to Brody Reina on the first play of the second quarter. He found Mark McCurdy a team-best four times.
Marcus Heard Jr. led the Wildcats defense with six tackles, while Julian Rawlins had two sacks and Yusuf Ahmed recovered a fumble.
Davidson finished with a 26-10 advantage in first downs and possessed the ball for nearly 39 minutes.

Davidson will play its next two on the road beginning with a 1 p.m. kickoff at Stetson Nov. 4.
